The Sellaronda circuit doesn’t only appeal to skiers, as the tour of the four passes awaits you with its 58 km in length and almost 1,800 metres in altitude. Local guides will be ready to take you on memorable paths of
discovery and, if you want to practice or improve your technique, you should pay a visit to the Trail Arena Val Gardena. There, you will find six trails of varying difficulty and a free-ride route at your disposal.

The Marmolada, Monte Cavallo and the Three Peaks of Lavaredo are within easy reach of Val Gardena: the stars of the Alps are lined up for you.
There are artificial climbing walls with 25 routes (from 4a to 7c +) at the Nives gym in the centre of Selva Gardena to satisfy your hunger for climbing in case of rain or in the colder season. At the tennis centre in Roncadizza there is a boulder, and at the Iman centre in Santa Cristina there is a wall.

Those who practice trail running at altitude will find many well-signposted routes in Val Gardena and its surroundings. You can search for routes with suitable lengths and altitude differences here. Those interested in horse riding can visit the FISE Pozzamanigoni Equestrian centre and the Pony Land Monte Pana in Selva di Val Gardena; the riding school in Ortisei is located in Maneggio Ortisei.
Diving and swimming is possible both in the local swimming lakes and in the Mar Dolomit pool in nearby Ortisei, which has indoor and outdoor pools, water games and whirlpools.

There are seven municipalities in Val Gardena that are part of the Puez-Odle Natural Park, famous for its majestic monoliths, the great variety of landscapes, crystalline lakes and lush pastures. The 7,291-hectare Sciliar - Catinaccio Nature Park can be visited starting from the information points in Siusi allo Sciliar and at Lake Fiè. The particular features of this land, the variety of flora and fauna, the 790 varieties of flowers and plants and the mythological saga of King Laurino who has his setting on the Catinaccio are an invitation to discover.
